POLYDER - Polyurethane Industrialists and Importers Association may use the information transmitted to it by members and visitors through the site in accordance with the provisions of the "Privacy Policy" and "Terms of Use" established under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (PDPL). In this context, it may process personal information of visitors and members in accordance with the purpose specified in the Law.

As Polyurethane Industrialists and Importers Association, we show the highest sensitivity to ensure the confidentiality and security of the personal data of all natural persons whose personal data we come into contact with in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey, the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data and other relevant legislation.

1. Who is responsible for the security and processing of your personal data?

As Polyurethane Industrialists and Importers Association, your personal data is processed by us in the framework outlined below in the capacity of "data controller" that we carry in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and related legislation. Polyurethane Industrialists and Importers Association was established in accordance with the Associations Law No. 5253 and is located within the borders of the Republic of Turkey.

2. What is the Method and Legal Reason for Collecting Your Personal Data?

Your personal data refers to all kinds of information and documents that you have transmitted to us in writing and/or verbally and/or electronically during and/or after your membership application, whether belonging to your legal entity or your representatives or officials, and this information is stored in physical and digital media. Your personal data may be processed and transferred to the natural and legal persons specified in this "Clarification Text" within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the PDPL, in accordance with the basic principles stipulated by the PDPL, for the following purposes.

Your personal data;

• To fulfill the obligations imposed on us by the provisions of the legislation, especially the Associations Law No. 5253,
• To carry out our activities in line with the objectives of our association,
• To follow and announce developments related to the sector, members and the association,
• To realize notifications of services and activities,
• To share relevant legislative changes,
• To provide opportunities such as participation, benefiting from events and to carry out all necessary actions to make them available to you,
• Ensuring data security,
• As required or obliged by legal regulations, in order to ensure the fulfillment of legal obligations and for all purposes specified in the PDPL,

It can be processed by our Association.

Although our Association has taken the necessary information security measures, in the event that personal data is damaged and / or seized by third parties as a result of attacks on the website and system, our association will immediately notify you and the Personal Data Protection Board.

4. To whom and for what purpose do we transfer your personal data?

Your personal data collected in accordance with the PDPL; In accordance with the basic principles stipulated by the PDPL and within the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the PDPL and for the purposes stated above, in order to carry out the activities of the association, it can be shared with third parties who carry out technical, logistics and other similar operations on our behalf, with auxiliary service providers who cooperate with the members of the association under the roof of POLYDER and / or receive services.

These third parties are only the persons who are obliged to access the relevant information in order to carry out the activities of the association.

5. Which rights do you have with respect to your personel data?

As a personal data owner pursuant to Article 11 of the PDPL you have rights;

• To learn whether your personal data is being processed,
• Requesting information if your personal data has been processed,
• To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
• To know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom your personal data is transferred,
• To request correction of your personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing and to request notification of the transaction made within this scope to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
• Although it has been processed in accordance with the provisions of PDPL and other relevant laws, to request the deletion or destruction of your personal data in the event that the reasons requiring its processing disappear and to request notification of the transaction made within this scope to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
• To object to the emergence of a result against the person himself/herself by analyzing your processed data exclusively through automated systems,
• In case of damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data, to demand compensation for your damage.

6. How will you exercise your rights as a data subject?

In order to exercise the above-mentioned rights you have pursuant to Article 11 of the PDPL, you can contact our association via  info@polyder.org  e-mail address or Osmanağa Mah. Kuşdili Cad. Azampalas No: 47/10 Kadıköy / ISTANBUL or by applying in person or by sending it by return mail.

In your request, the right/request you want to use together with your identity information should be clearly stated and the necessary explanations should be made by adding all the information and documents subject to your request. Requests submitted to us and having the necessary qualifications will be finalized free of charge as soon as possible and within 30 (thirty) days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request, and the result will be notified to you in writing or electronically in accordance with the feedback procedure you have chosen in your request. However, if the transaction requires an additional cost for our Association, the fee in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board may be requested. For applications submitted in writing, the Polyurethane Industrialists and Importers Association reserves the right to request additional information and/or documents to confirm your identity in order to ensure data security.
